Spring Roll Kit
Makes 20 rolls. Contains: 20 sheets of rice paper, 80 g of vermicelli noodles and 80 g of Thai sauce. Suggested pairings: 20 pieces of prawns (peeled, deveined, halves), 10 leaves of lettuce, 1 piece of cucumber (julienned) and 1 piece of carrot (grated).
1. Soak the vermicelli from the pack in boiling water for about 1 minute until they’re soft.
2. Place the rice paper wraps into warm water until soft and foldable. Then, blot them on a damp tea towel.
3. Place the lettuce, carrot and cucumber into the rice paper wraps. Then add the halved prawns. Mould each rice paper wrap gently to form a roll. Watch out as the rice paper will tear if not handled carefully!
4. Place the rice paper wraps on a plate. They are best served with Spring Rolls dipping sauce (included in the kit).
